Enrollment: Placement and Registration

Thank you for your interest in the Preucil School of Music. If you have trouble downloading the forms, please install the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

To enroll in music theory, chamber groups, group class, and/or orchestra, speak to your private lesson teacher or the main office.

To enroll in instrument lessons, preschool, Music Together®, or the Certificate Program, see below.

Instrument Lessons

Sonja Zeithamel & Christie Felsing are the Lessons Placement Coordinators. Please contact them for questions about
special circumstances regarding placement

2. If your child is under 5 years old, please read: Pretwinkle Partner Lesson Information
3. For information about lesson tuition and fees: Fee Structure
4. Print and complete the Placement Form: Lesson Placement Form
5. Print and complete the Observation Form: Observation Form
6. Send the completed forms and the $35 placement fee to:

   Limited financial aid is available.

1. Read the Placement and Financial Policies for Preschool
2. Print the Placement Form: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Placement Form
3. Complete the Preschool/ECE form and send with the $40 placement fee to:

   Iowa City, IA 52245-9570
   
   Financial aid is available for preschool students.
   

1. Read the Placement and Financial Policies for Music Together
2. Contact the North Campus Office to reserve a spot in a Music Together class
3. Print the Placement Form: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Placement Form
4. Complete the form and return it to us with a check for tuition
5. Send placement form and check to:

1. Application forms are available at the office, or download here.
2. Write a 200 word essay expressing your interest in the program and what you foresee, at this time, as the importance of music in your life.
3. Submit application, essay, and $40 annual registration fee no later than Fall registration.
